Interior Designer on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Leigh Anne Tuohy Memphis, Tennessee native Leigh Anne Tuohy joins the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" team for its 8th season, where she will combine two of her passions, giving back and interior designing.

Tuohy graduated from the University of Mississippi, "Ole Miss," with a BS in interior design. She owns "Fair I," an interior design firm with her mother and partner, Virginia Roberts. Her work has been featured on HGTV and in numerous publications, and she has designed for such clients as Peyton Manning (Indianapolis Colts), Scottie Pippin (Retired NBA player), Isaac Bruce (St. Louis Rams), and OJ Mayo (Memphis Grizzlies). She is married to her college sweetheart, Sean Tuohy, who was a record breaking University of Mississippi basketball player before becoming a successful entrepreneur and NBA broadcaster.

Not only is Tuohy a phenomenal businesswoman, she is also an extraordinary family woman, recognizing the full potential of individuals within her community. Her inspiring story has touched the hearts of Americans across the country, chronicled in Michael Lewis' New York Times No. 1 bestseller, "The Blind Side," which went on to become a record breaking Hollywood blockbuster. Tuohy was portrayed by actress Sandra Bullock, who won the Academy Award for Best Actress for the performance.

With "The Blind Side" as one of the most talked-about true stories of our time, the Tuohys are now sharing the story in their own words. Their New York Times bestseller, "In a Heartbeat: Sharing the Power of Cheerful Giving" (Henry and Holt and Co.), was released in July 2010.

The Tuohys reside in Memphis and are the proud parents of daughter Collins (23) and sons Michael Oher (23) and Sean, Jr. (16).
