Designer on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Jillian Harris Jillian Harris first became familiar to "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" fans in Season 7, when she joined the improvement crew for the "Get on the Bus" campaign. ABC's former Bachelorette enjoys an affection for design and has refined her skills in previous projects, including creative and technical solutions for private residents and restaurants. Harris also has an eye for furniture and fashion.

The green-eyed beauty first appeared on ABC in 2009 when she competed for Jason Mesnick's affection on "The Bachelor." Harris was invited to New Zealand as one of the final three women, but even after she and Jason shared one of the steamiest hot tub scenes in "Bachelor" history, he still questioned whether their chemistry would last over time and he sent her home. To Harris' surprise, she was selected to find true love on the fifth edition on ABC's popular reality series, "The Bachelorette." There she met Ed Swiderski and celebrated a whirlwind romance, and together they continue to navigate her post-"Bachelorette" adventure.

Harris, a native of Peace River, Alberta, Canada, graduated from British Columbia Institute of Technology with a degree in interior design. She went on to become a restaurant interior designer, successfully supervising projects in both Canada and the United States. She become an instant fan favorite, immediately charming America with her irrepressible humor and emotional honesty.

Vivacious and energetic, Harris lives life to the fullest. In her spare time she volunteers in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program as a school tutor and mentor.
