Popular British actor Jonathan Hyde is best known for his work on the big screen in such hits as the Academy Award-winning "Titanic," "The Mummy" and "Jumanji." Audiences also are familiar with him for his roles in popular television miniseries and movies like Hallmark's "Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story" and the acclaimed "Joan of Arc" -- both for CBS -- ABC's "The Wonderful World of Disney" presentation of "Princess of Thieves" and Hallmark's "Prince and the Pauper."

Jonathan is a leading member of the Royal National Theatre and former member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. His extensive background on the British stage includes roles in "The Cherry Orchard," "The Critic," "The Real Inspector Hound" and "The Dutchess of Malfi" for the National Theatre. He has also appeared in the Royal Shakespeare Company productions of "Romeo and Juliet," "Richard II," "Richard III," "The Merchant of Venice," "Julius Caesar," "As You Like It," "King Lear," "Macbeth," "Anthony and Cleopatra" and "Columbus."

Jonathan currently resides in Devon, England.
