Fred Savage
Mitch Crumb on Crumbs

Fred Savage stars as Mitch Crumb in the ABC comedy "Crumbs."

At 28, Savage is already a 20-year veteran of the entertainment business. Starting out in commercials in Chicago, he then began expanding to television and to such feature films such as "Vice Versa" and "The Princess Bride." In 1988 he started a six-year run as Kevin Arnold on "The Wonder Years," a role that earned him numerous accolades and awards, including two Emmy nominations for Best Actor in a Comedy Series.

Savage's second series, "Working," ran for two seasons on NBC, from 1998 to 2000, and also gave him his first opportunity to direct. He is now pursuing a directing career in television and film, and is currently serving as house director and producer for the Disney television program, "Phil of the Future."

Recently married, Savage also continues to act, appearing in such films as "Austin Powers: Goldmember," "The Rules of Attraction" and "Welcome to Mooseport."
