Boy Meets World
Formerly on Friday nights

Boy Meets World photo Will he or won't he? That is the question to be answered by Cory Matthews.

His longtime sweetheart, Topanga, stunned him by proposing marriage on their graduation day. Cory, who will undoubtedly seek advice on the matter from those he trusts, has yet to respond.

Aside from his world being rocked by Topanga popping the question, he is also nervous about entering a new educational phase. Cory is now a freshman at Pennbrook College and finds himself faced with the typical anxieties that confront a young college student.

Topanga decided to forego the offer to attend Yale and will also go to Pennbrook, so she can be near Cory. She and Shawn's girlfriend, Angela, become roommates in a coed dormitory.

To everyone's amazement, Cory's best buddy, Shawn, takes a big step when he announces that he wants to take some college courses. He also surprises Jack and Eric when he tells them he wants to move out of the apartment he's shared with them and move with Cory into a dorm apartment. Shawn is somewhat torn when it comes to choosing between life in the academic or working-class world.

With Shawn leaving, Eric and Jack need to find a new roommate. They meet the perfect candidate in the smart and charming Rachel McGuire who, like them, is a sophomore at Pennbrook. They want to invite her to live with them but wonder if they will all be able to be "just friends" under the same roof.

Back on the Matthews home front, Amy and Alan are thrilled that they are parents-to-be. But Alan is concerned about his family's financial situation, especially with two of their kids in college. Youngest sister Morgan wonders how the new baby will affect her relationship with her family and has no problem with expressing her 12-year-old point of view on the matter.

After retiring from the teaching profession, George Feeny packed his bags and moved to Wyoming. Corey, like everyone else, misses the wise man's presence. Feeny doesn't know if his new retirement routine will satisfy his own discriminating and intellectual demands or if he should return home.

Ben Savage stars as Cory Matthews, William Daniels as Mr. Feeny, Betsy Randle as Amy Matthews, Will Friedle as Eric Matthews, Rider Strong as Shawn Hunter, William Russ as Alan Matthews, Lindsay Ridgeway as Morgan Matthews, Danielle Fishel as Topanga, Matthew Lawrence as Jack, Trina McGee-Davis as Angela and Maitland Ward as Rachel McGuire.
