Stephnie Weir
Lorna on Big Day

Stephnie Weir was raised in Texas and attended Odessa Junior College, studying theater and broadcasting. She went on to attend Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, were she studied anthropology and women's studies.

As she expanded on her creative talents in Chicago, Weir performed at the Second City's Main Stage, the Goodman Theater and the Improv Olympic. She and her husband, Robert Dassie, created a two-person show entitled "WeirDass," which they have performed in New York, Chicago and Edinburgh.

In Los Angeles Weir spent five seasons as a writer/performer on "MadTV" (her final episodes aired in the 2006-2007 season). In film she appeared last year in "Fun with Dick and Jane," and she stars in two upcoming independent features, "Moonpie" and "Eden Court." She will soon be seen again on stage in her one-person show entitled "Slowdeatha, TX," at the Comedy Central Stage.

Weir lives in Los Angeles.
