Construction crews are right on track for finishing Cabell County's new 911 Center.
"It's going to enhance our responses to all emergencies and all services now, and in the future," Cabell 911 Director, Mike Davis, said.
"This building is made to grow with the county for the next 20 years," Assistant Director, J.R. VanOoteghem, said.
VanOoteghem says the new 12,500 square foot building, estimated at close to $10 million is a project that everyone can sink their teeth into.
The building is being payed for by Cabell County taxpayers, but workers are saying in a couple months, taxpayers will be getting more bang for their buck.
"This building will be highly advanced," VanOoteghem said. "It will provide a higher level of service to the citizens of this county and to the public safety agencies as well."
"It's good for this particular community," Davis said. "It's good for economic development, we hope, in this community."
The construction on the new 911 Center is scheduled to be completed by the end of January.
